Features and Characteristics:
  • Global developmental delay
  • Hypotonia
  • Microcephaly
  • Apraxia of speech (has approximately 20 words)
  • Dysarthia
  • Sensory integration issues
  • Strabismus
  • Possible ADD
  • Single crease on the left fifth finger
  • Abnormal EEG (slowing of brain wave activity)
  • RSV pneumonia at 2 months of age
  • Chicken pox at 6 months of age

Prenatal Concerns:

  • Long labor and forceps delivery

Testing with negative results:

  • Angelman syndrome
  • Amino and organic acids
  • Long chain fatty acids
