The Resource Foundation for Children with Challenges

The Resource Foundation for Children with Challenges (RFCC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in March 1999 to provide educational resources and emotional support to parents and caregivers of children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities.

The RFCC is currently offering two programs: Special Child and Parent-Matching. Special Child, which has been in operation since 1997, is an online program that provides families up-to-date information on available therapies, disability legislation, special education issues, specific disorders, and many other topics. The Parent-Matching program, the RFCC's newest project, entails uniting parents with one another who have the same or similar disorder. The goal of both programs is to provide families with knowledge, support, and encouragement so that they will have the strength and know-how to seek and obtain services that will ultimately benefit their special child.

The RFCC is a public charity organization that relies on financial support from grants from private foundations and corporations, individual gifts, and donations. For more information on how you can become involved with the RFCC, please contact us or visit our Funding/Donations page.
